Hi
I brought you all some information about my surroundings.

The Aquarium of the World: The Gulf of CaliforniaOften referred to as the "Aquarium of the World"—a title famously bestowed upon it by Jacques Cousteau—the Gulf of California (also known as the Sea of Cortez) is one of the most biologically diverse marine ecosystems on the planet. Nestled between the Baja California Peninsula and the Mexican mainland, this unique body of water is a natural treasure of global significance.

Biodiversity HotspotThe Gulf’s isolation from the open Pacific, combined with its unique geological history and nutrient-rich waters, has fostered an incredible concentration of marine life. It is home to over 900 species of fish, 30% of which are endemic to the region, meaning they cannot be found anywhere else on Earth.Beyond its fish lations, the gulf serves as a critical habitat for:
Marine Mammals: It is a vital breeding and calving ground for species such as the gray whale, humpback whale, and the endangered vaquita porpoise.Mega-fauna: The region attracts whale sharks, giant manta rays, and mive schools of hammerhead sharks, drawing researchers and nature enthusiasts alike.Diverse Habitats: From vibrant coral reefs and mangrove forests to deep-sea hydrothermal vents, the gulf offers a complex tapestry of ecosystems that support this mive biological output.
