Women's bread in a pot was made on Stara Planina 7,000 years ago. The oldest pottery originates from the Neolithic, so it can be said that this procedure is at least 7,000 years old.
Unfortunately, very few women today know how to prepare bread this way.
This procedure involves first making a baking dish out of the mud, which is mixed with the dog, which is baked in the hearth, after which the dough is placed in it, which is immediately covered with embers from the hearth. The pot in which bread is baked, and which is also baked in the hearth, is called "women's pot", because according to ancient customs, only women can prepare bread in this way. In the end, before baking, the pot is "decorated" with a cross.
The bread prepared in this way is extremely tasty. Unfortunately, it takes a lot of work to make, but in the end you get bread with a unique taste.
