If all the people of the world (8,000,000,000 inhabitants) stood next to each other (4 people on 1 square meter), the whole of humanity would stand on an area the size of a larger island.

If every person in the world (8,000,000,000 inhabitants) were provided with a space of about 1,000 square meters to grow their own food, the whole of humanity would occupy an area equal to Brazil (8,516,000,000 square meters).

If each family of four members (8,000,000,000 inhabitants/4) were to be provided with a space of about 700 square meters to grow their own food, the whole of humanity would fit on an area equal to Iran (1,648,000,000 square meters).

In 2019, it was estimated that there are about 7.7 billion people in the world. Almost all the necessary quantities of vegetables for a family of four can be produced in about 200 square meters of garden.

It is known that arable land today covers an area of about 1,417 Mha — out of a total of 4,900 Mha of soil. On it, quantities of vegetables could be grown to feed 155 billion people, that is, for over 38 billion four-member families.

There aren't too many people.
